September 2, 2016 Friday around 10pm, a bomb exploded in Davao city there were 14 people who died and 67 people were injured during the explosion. There were improvised explosive device found at the scene. While our soldier was sent in Mindanao to fight against the rebel group, it was one of the biggest headlines that disrupted the nation that the hometown of President Duterte was attacked by terrorist. President Duterte described the attack as the act of terrorism, "We have to confront the ugly head of terrorism”. Just give him salt and vinegar and President Duterte is ready to eat them (the terrorist) alive, "'Pag galitin mo akong talagang sasagad na, kaya kong kumain ng tao. Bigyan mo lang ako ng suka't asin, kakainin ko sa harap nila 'yan, 'pag pinaharap mo ako ng gano'n – alam mo, kaya kong kumain ng tao. Talagang buksan ko 'yang katawan mo, bigyan mo ako suka't asin, kakainin kita, Ako, 'pag galitin mo ako, sa totoo lang – I will eat you alive. Raw" President Duterte addressed his speech during the gathering of the Filipino based in his official visit to Vientiane, Laos. While president Duterte expressed his thoughts on violent extremist group particularly the ISIS, if ever president Duterte witnesses the presence of cruelty of the rebel group ISIS, he wouldn’t hesitate to eat them alive. Later that day the president cancelled his very first international trip for the G20 summit and declared the “state of emergency for the account of lawlessness”, the misconception of the word ‘lawlessness” had sparked several issues that led to various reactions and criticism.
