The country Of Jamaica is the first country that passed a law against homosexuality, The Offences against the Person Act since 1864, in this law any homosexuals who are caught can be subjected to be imprison for at most 10 years. It is not only their law but also their people; many artists used their music in showing their dislike for homosexuality in their country while normal people have been vocal about it. A survey done by “National Survey of Attitudes and Perceptions of Jamaicans towards Same Sex Relationships" published in 2011 showed that 1,007 Jamaicans, aged 18–84, 85.2 percent were opposed to legalizing homosexuality among consenting adults. In addition, 82.2 percent said that male homosexuality was immoral, 75.2 percent believed that female homosexuality was immoral, and 75.3 percent believed that bisexual relationships were immoral.

In fact many of the church pastors in Jamaican are supporting their law against homosexuality.
